Action E1: Overall project operation

 

Description and methods employed:
 

Administrative and financial project management lasts the entire project duration (Month 1- 36). Uni Fi, Coordinating Beneficiary, is responsible for overall administrative, financial and legal management and coordination, thus retaining full and day to day control of the project. Uni Fi is in charge of ensuring that tasks are implemented in accordance with the project contract and the rules of the LIFE+ call. This includes:

 

  • Administrative and financial management - contractual issues (funding agreement and cooperation contract); final control on deliverables; preparation of reports including the following, as detailed in Article 12 of the Common Provisions (see also Action E4 for External Audit)

  • 1 Inception Report: delivered within 9 months after the start date and providing a self-assessment of the viability of the project

  • 1 detailed Mid-term report with payment request (after the threshold defined in Article 28.3 of the Common Provisions have been reached)

  • 1 Final Report with payment request, not later than 3 months after the project end date

  • Any additional Progress reports, in order to ensure that at least one report is received every 18 months (depending on submission timetable of other reports)

  • Organisational / logistical management (organising meetings, including agenda and minutes, in collaboration with host partner; contact with the Commission / Ministry when necessary¸ contact with and support to partners)

  • Addressing and resolving any eventual technical and methodological issues, in collaboration with partner concerned

  • Monitoring and evaluation of project activities and results (design and application of detailed monitoring and evaluation strategy, contact with partners to ensure contribution, analysis of results)
