Action E2: Networking with other projects

 

Description and methods employed:
 

The participation in and the organisation of networking with other projects, including LIFE projects (LIFE III and / or LIFE+ projects) will be managed by Uni Fi (as project coordinator) throughout the project duration (36 months).

 

Beneficiaries will identify project approved on the 2013 LIFE+ call in the field of Enviornment and Health and will contact them to propose cooperation initiatives. Projects approved on Urban Environment may also be of relevance.

 

Form B3 (European Added Value) details some projects from other European Programmes that beneficiaries wish to capitalise on and cooperate with. These include:

 

  • MeDALL- Mechanisms of the Development of ALLergy, a collaborative project supported by the Health Cooperation Work Programme of the 7th Framework programme. MeDALL groups 23 public and private institutions, who work together on the elucidation of the mechanisms of allergy-associated diseases.

  • HIALINE - Health Impacts of Airborne Allergen Information Network a collaborative project supported by the Health Cooperation Work Programme of the 7th Framework programme. With 14 partners, the research project evaluates the effects of climate diversity and change on airborne allergen exposure, and to implement an outdoor allergen early warning network.

  • HEALS - Health and Environment-wide Associations via Large population Surveys, brining together 29 organisations over 5 years. HEALS refines and applies an integrated methodology for environment-wide association studies in support of EU-wide environment and health assessments.
