Update:

The activities of networking is going on in each country. In particular a networking  meeting will be organised in Florence in April in collaboration with the following LIFE project: Persuaded, MED-HISS, MAPEC and Hia-21.

An informative brochure of all LIFE Project of University of Florence has been prepared in collaboration with the European and International Research Office. (Annex 7.2.27).

Performed activities:

Networking  and joint  activities with  LIFE+  projects or other  cooperation  projects; Active participation  in networks (including  European networks), leading to widespread awareness of the project across the EU: in particular beneficiaries have been be active in information platforms related to the project objectives (national and European for  example the European Aeroallergen Network  (EAN) database (https://ean.polleninfo.eu/Ean/). The EAN Pollen.

Contacts with other projects, including other LIFE+ projects, have been undertaken since the start of AIS LIFE project.

The Coordinator Beneficiary attended the kick-off of LIFE+ projects on the 28th of November  2014 in  Rome.  Unifi  has organized a networking  event with  the  LIFE project of University of Florence the 24th of October 2014 (see Annex in Networking folder). UNIFI has organized on May 27th 2016 a LIFE  day a LIFE  day The event included the participation  of Environmental Ministry Staff and Neemo staff. An AIS Project poster was presented (see Annex in Networking folder).

In our website an entire section of links is dedicated to networking activities.

An  informative  brochure  of  all  LIFE  Project of  University of  Florence has been prepared in collaboration with the European and International Research Office. (see Annex in Networking folder)

In June 2016 the project staff has participated in two networking events: on June 14th in Roma in occasion  of the presentation of “Piattaforma delle Conoscenze” (the photos have been upleade in AIS LIFE Facebook accout) and on June 15th in Pisa at the  “Ambiente  e  salute”  meeting  (Va sessione) organised by  MAPEC  LIFE Coordination team

In  the  first  part  of  the  project  life,   networking   activities  was  carried  out  in collaboration with GIOCONDA, PESUADED, MED HISS, MAPEC, GHOST, CROME, MERMAIDS and Hia-21 LIFE projects. These collaboration have conducted to create the KTE Network.

The first step was on April 13th 2016, a meeting has been organized by GIOCONDA staff in Florence involving PESUADED, MED HISS, MAPEC, Hia-21 and AIS LIFE project. The meeting has given the opportunity  to produce a document submitted  to the Italian Environmental Ministry). The main focus has been disseminated through web communication in the Official EU LIFE website (see Annex Networking folder).

A second step to the costitution of KTE LIFE EnvHealth Network was the meeting in Rome the  14th   of  November  2016. In  the  meeting,  the  discussion confirms  the concepts to  define the environment and health domain, where we insert our KTE activities:

This theme is characterized by:

1.       A complex governance: legislation for the environment refers to European legislation; legislation for health, refers to decisions made by states, regions and local administrations

2.       A high level of uncertainty, ambiguity and complexity arises when discussing the notion of risk exposure

3.       A scientific research that  is in  constant  evolution,  often  circumscribed by results that are very difficult  to generalize (and explain), and imply multi-discipline challenges

4.       A highly variable public perception, linked to different cultural, socio-economic and political contexts, and highly influential in the political process.

The discussion also confirms the potential value of a concerted action on Knowledge Transfer and Exchange.  Several tools are available,  and many different  groups and actors are working on KTE, or require an action on it.

The future activities of the KTE LIFE EnvHealth Network should contribute to advance as a Network under a methodological point of view, and identifying common actions (see Annex in Networking folder).

Another step was in Rome, the 23th of May 2017 in a networking meeting organized by PERSUADED project. The working about the KTE LIFE EnvHealth  Network are in progress as demonstrated by different meeting:  PisaInnova (25th  – 28th  of October

2017: KTE LIFE was discussed in the section “Ambiente e Salute: metodi innovativi di

comunicazione” see 7.3.22 in the Attended Events) or videoconference organized in December 2017. A document  (see Draft_Min_Amb)  was prepared to  organize the following phases.

Recently,  AIS  LIFE +  has established a collaboration  with the EIT-HEALTH  POLLAR project, working on the same topic as AIS  LIFE +. Additionally, several non-LIFE EU projects complete the list of networking projects: HEALS, MEDALL.
